Where The Magic Happens

A little while ago my brother decided to forfeit his bedroom so we could create our very own make-shift music studio.

Our bright red bass guitar hanging on the wall there, a Casino, and our black electric, Samick, were both from a second hand store and we picked them up for a very reasonable price. The Casio keyboard was from our uncle, and the speaker system under it is from an auction.
We have a desk set up here and we're hoping to get a mixer/recorder for it, but for now it's proving a very useful work bench for the more "nitty gritty" technical stuff. The speaker and amp system there we also picked up at an auction.
iPods, CDs and leads. We tend not to buy leads because our super clever father can actually make them!
Here we have our Union Series Tanglewood ukelele and our SX acoustic.
This is our Wurlitzer organ. We love her very much, she's great! And guess what the price tag was? $2!
This is probably one of our least quality instruments. We got this drum kit at a garage sale for $100, including a hi-hat, bass drum, snare, high tom, mid tom and floor tom. All in all it is a great kit in great working order, but the hi-hat is in terrible need of replacement, so whenever you play it it sounds like you're hitting a trash can. Since then we have added a crash symbol and are hoping to continue to add to it.
This is our favourite clock because it's always music time! We got it at an op shop as a family photo frame clock, but we inserted music notes instead! It would also look really cool with your favourite album covers in there.
My mother made this for me, I love it!
It goes with our couch there that we picked up at a garage sale for $5. It has served us well, whether we're having a tinkle on the guitar or just having a break. Then is our Ibanez 12 string which has such a cool sound and our folk size Ashton.

Well that's it! Our DIY music studio. It's such a great space to play in and I'll keep you updated with any new groovy additions we have.

Hello and Welcome
